Points Decision in Spirited Boxing Contest

AUCKLAND, Last Night. The professional boxing contest between young Gildo of Manila, Phillipine Islands, and Clarrie Rayne'r, of Blenheim, was won on points by the Filipino at the end of twelve three-minute rdunds. It was a very spirited contest throughout, Rayner holding the advantage over the first half dozen rounds but then fading away to lose the xemaining Tounds and with them the decision.
