WAIPAWA, Last Night. The quarterly summoned meeting of the Loyal Abbotsford Lodg© M.U.I.O. O.F., "Waipawa, was held last evening, the N.G. Sister B. Weston, presiding over a, fair attendance of members. The annual accounts and balancesheet were adopted. One candidate was proposed for membership. The following members .were elected to represent the Lodge at the District Conf erence to be held at Waipukurau on March 17: — F.S. Sister E. Pellow, and P.G's. Bros. J. Cable, E. Kingston, A. Kerr and J. Kirk. Bros. ■ Kingston, Kirk and W. J. Harris were re-elected to the management committee, and P. G. Bro. F. C. Mitchell was re-appointed as auditor. P.G. Bro E. Kinkston, was re-elected as Lecture Master, and the matter of appointing Degree Masters was held over to enable the management committee to investigate ihe position. The sitting officers wepe appointed as a social committee with power to add. P.G. Bro. J. Cable, supervisor of the juvenile branch, presented a report of the operations of the Lodge in the past twelve months. A vote of thanks was passed to the supervisors for their excellent work in conducting the affairs of the Juvenile Lodge. A vote of thanks was also accorded P.G. Bro. F. Wallis for his work aa sick visitor. , Director Bro. N. J. McKay .briefly addressed the members on th© finance of the Lodge, with particular reference to effects of recent legislation on Lodge funds, and also gave a very interesting lecture on the new Universal Ritual, which had been ii? use since the beginning of the year. The members of the management committee thanked the Lodge for their re-election.
