— X A most enjoyablo day w§s apent by ^ members of the Waipawa BowBrg Qldb 1 on the Hastings bowling green over tho week-end. Five rinks from Waipawa took part competing against four rinks from the Hastings Club aud one from Kia Toa. Thc weather conditions wero ideal and although the scores ^ were substantially in favour of tho home teams there were some very even M games. • At the ecnclusion of play Mr * Adeane on behalf of the visitors thanked the members of the Hastings club for their hospitality and extended to them a hearty invitation to visit Waipawa.
