An inquqest into the eause of the death at Waitarere Beach last Sunday of Harold Russell Hayden, aged 47 years, of Feilding, was held in the courthouse at Levin before the district coroner, Mr. G. H. Harper. After the evidence had been taken, the coroner returned a verdiet in accordance with the medical testimony that the deceased suceumbed to heart failure as the result of over-exe^pon in the water..
