Whicb shows to-day at the Eegent Theatre. Ereddie "co-stars with Jackie Gooper and Mickey Eooney. Ian Hunter' and Peggy Conklin provide the romantic interest in a touching iove story that enters into the adventurons narrative of the bbys. The boys unite in a determined effort to buy a tombstone for the father of one who had recently died in the electric chair at Sing Sing. That is the environment in which they livo. In acquiring the money for the landable purpose, they run foul of the police and wind up in the juvenile court. Freddie eventually protects them and also emerges to be instrumenfnl in the capture of a band of city killers. Although many of the players are children, it should be mentioned • that the'film is really meant for adults, and wili prove of absorbing interest to them.
