Revellers' Club Holds Successful Dance

TAKAPAU, This Day. A* very successful dancing evening organised by the young people of Takapau, was held in .the Public Hall supper- room on Thursday evening. Mr Te Tau supplied the musio, and Mr Len McDonald was M.C. The room was prettily decorated by the young men of the Revellers' Club. The programme for the evening contained many novelty items. There was a large attendance, and the evening was so successful that it was decided to hold- a big dance in -the Takapau Town Hall on Coronation night. Personai. Very many suttlers in the Ashly Clinton and Takapau districts will regret that Mr and Mrs W. G. Morton and Miss Morton will be leaving Takapau next month to take up their residence in Napier. They will be much missed in many circles and their many friends in the Takapau district will wish them very much happiness in their r^tirement from a farming life. Caledonian Society. Mr N. C. Wylie, secretary of the Takapau Caledonian Society reports that he has received excellent entries for the running and cycling events at the Caledonian Sports oix Wednesday, March 3.
