Wife Found Hysterical Beside Body (Received 27, 8.45 a.m.) LOS ANGELES. Feb. 26. A message from Palm Spfings, California, states that Humphfey Pearson, aged 4G, a widely-known film writer, was found shot dead in bed in his desert cottage at Santa Monica. The sherxiff found his wife hysterical in the .adme bed as the cdrpse. She was unable to give a clear account of the evente preceding the tfagedy.
