Hastings Meeting Next Week . C0NTR0L 0RGANISATI0N A meeting of the combined school co-mmittees of Hastings and otherg interested in the supply of milk to tho school children is to be called some time next week by the Mayor, Mr. G. A. Maddison, in accordance with the request of the Director-General of Heulth. The objecivo of the meeting is to set up the organisatii»i to control the supply of milk to the schools, it being the aim of the Government to give a daily supply to every child attending the primary schools. Before such a service can be given it will be- necessary to Bet up various committeees to investigate the different aspects of the scheme and generally to take control of the service in this district. Arrangements have already been completed for the service to be instituted in the four main centres, and it is now desired that the provincial towns and boroughs should be brought into line.
