WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, announces that the- Australian naval authorities have slightly amended the programme for the visit oi the ships of the Royal Australian Naval Squadron to New Zealand waters during April. The amended programme of the visits to New Zealand ports is now as follows: — Wellington. — The whole squadron Xexcept H.M.A.S. Swan), April 3 to 7. E.M.A.S. Swan, April 6 to 7. New Plymouth. — H.M.A.S.. Swan, April 3 to 5. Lyttelton. — H.M.A. Ships Ganberra ®nd Sydney, April 8 to 13. Dunedin. — H.M.A. Ships Stuart and .Vendetta, April 10 to 13. Napier. — H.M.A.S. Swan, April 8 to 12 Bay of IslandB or Whangarei. — F.Af.A, Ships Ganberra, Sydney, anj Australia, April 15 to 16. Port Chalmers.— H.M.A.S. Australia, April 8 to 13. Gisborne. — H.M.A.S. Swan, April 12 to 15. Nelson. — H.M.A.S. Waterhen, April ■f to 9. Timaru. — H.M.A.S. Waterhen, April 10 to 13. Picton H.M.A. Ships Stuart and Vendetta, April 7 to 9. Auckland. — The whole squadron, April 16 to 21.
