FORESTERS' LODGE

The monthly meeting of Court Heretaunga, Ancient Order of Forestere, ,was held in the TJnited Hall, Lyndon road. Representativee from CJourt Sir Henry Havelock and .Court Waitangi were present. Several new members wero initiated and Bros. Simpson and Burrows were presented with P.G.R. sash by the district officers. After supper the members entertained the visitors at games of cards and bowls. This meeting was one of the best held in recent years, and proposals were brought forward for inaugurating a series of competitiQns between the courts of the district.
