There was a very fair attendance at the Waipawa Bowling green yesterday afternoon, and although marred by several sharp showers, the following games were completed: — — Wilkie, Clark, Eagle 29;. Fletcher, Davy, Chisholm 11. Carter, Petherick 23; Walker, King 21. A match between two teams from the Central Lodge R.A.O.B. for the Sloan Buff . Buttons was also played, the holders (Holt, Dunkin, Jopson, Patterson) defeating the challenging team (H. Bainbridge, C. Bainbridge, Cos, Wills) by 25 to 19.
