INVERCARGILL, THis Day. In a speeial timo trial at the tepid baths the Southland junior girl backstroke champion, Colleen Gerrard, swam 50 ,yards in 40 4-5 seconds, breaking the Dominion record held by Joyce Eichavdson (Auckland) by two seconds.
