Mrs B. Tapp, Milestone, Havelock Nortk, is spending a f8w days in Wellington. Miss Hardy left Hastings this morning on her return to Wellington. Mrs Graham, Masterton, has returned home after spending a few days with her daughter, Mrs R. St. Lawrence, Haumoana, Miss Joan Harrison has completed her training as a Karitane nurse in Wanganui and is at present staying with her mother, Mrs W. Harrison, Stonycroft, Hastings. Miss Muriel Barley, Hastings, left thie morning to continue her training at the Auckland Training College. Mr and Mrs Rose Gunn, Otago, are visiting Hastings and are the guests of their sons. Miss M. Danahay, Pahautanui, who has been staying • with relatives in Hastings, left for her home yesterday. .Mrs Robinson, Dufferin etreet, Hastings, left yesterday by car for Wairarapa. Miss Eva Matthews, Wanganui, has arrived in Napier to take up an ap-. pointment with the Max Studio of Dancing. The Misses Tweedie, of Scotland, who are touring New Zealand, are Bpending the week-end at the Arcadia Hotel, Napier.
