MUNICIPAL THEATRE
TWO FINE FEATURE8 One of the mgst delicious screen eomedies of the decade, "Lottery Lover," screens at the Municipal to-night. This Fox Film comedy-romanc© is the Btory of a gallant crew of young cadets, enjoying their fist. leave jn Paris. One of their number, the only girl-shy fellow in the lot, wins the lottery which they have organised. With it he wins their pooled resources, the right to wop the glamorous darling of the "Follies Bergere" — and the lady'a garter as his calling card. The notable cast includes 'Lew Ayres, "Pat" Paterson, Peggy Fears, Beginald Denny, Alan Dinehart, Walter King, Sterling Holloway and Nick Foran. "The County Chairman," also at the Municipal, shows Will Rogers more mirthful, human and engrosBing than "David Harum," "Handy Andy'* or "Judge Priest." "The Couniy Chairman" has ° been adapted from George Ade's famous stage play of a generation ago and deals with small-town politics back at tke turn of the century. Their oolourful personalities, their frenzied rallies, their intense feeling made of them a very different "game" from politics to-day — conducted with reserve and dignity via the radio.
