Meeting at Waipukurau

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. The monthly meeting of the Home and School League was held last night Mr H. A. Martin presiding over Mesdames H. A. Martin, H. A. De Lacy, R. McLean, Collet, L. Renner (secretary), Messrs V- Parsons and C. F. Haycock. An apology jvas received from Mr F. Sayliss. Mr Parsons was cordially welcomed to the League by the ehairman, Mr Martin. Mr Parsons thanked those present for their welcome and expressed his appreciation for the many kindnesses he had received since his arrival in Waipukurau. Several matters were discussed dealing with school improvements. It was decided to hold the first card party and dance on Friday, March 13.
