CYCLIST'S OFFENCES
"In view of the rather heavy ccsts, I will make the penalt-y lighter than I would otherwise, but I would point out that it is a very dangerous practice to be riding at night without a light," said tbe Magistrate, Mr J. Miller, this morning when convicting R. Tutaki, junior of riding a bicycle at nignt, without a light. He was fined 10/-, with costs 17/-. On a further charge of ridingj a bicyole at night without a rear reilector Tutaki was also fined 10/- with 15/- costs.
