BOARD AND DOCTOR Public Meetings Likely to Discuss Matter NAPIER INDIGNATION That the public of Napier and of th© country disfricts, north and south, are taking a keen iuterest in the present affairs of the Hawke's • Bay Hospital Board is indicat.ed by the fact that a number of meetings are likely to be held during the next few days, principally to discuss the board's attitude towards Dr. J. Allan Berry and a sister at the Napier Hospital. ! A reporter learned this morning that thore is every possibility Of an indignation meeting b'eing held at the §ound-Shell on the Marine Parade, Napier, after church next Sunday night, when the Hon. W. E. Barnard, M.P., will be asked to preside. Tho organisera are people who are of the opinion that the board is not treating Dr. Berry fairly. It was also learned this morning that there is a possibility of meetings being field shortly at Clive, Eskdale, "Westshore and Putorino, while various organisations in Napier, it has been stated, are likely to give consideration to the existing state of affairs between the board and Dr. Berry.
