Waipawa Collision Case Damages amounting to £1166 5/11 were granted by the jury jto Boy Fissenden, of Waipawa, motoij mechanic, against Heniy Oram, of Pab merston North, solicitor, in the Supreme Court at Napier yesterday afternoonw Mr Jnstice Ostler accordingly gavei judgment for that amount, But granted, an appli-cation oi Mr J. O. Mazengarb to have the time in which to apply for a rehearing extended from four to four-! teen days. Mr C. G. E. Harker appeared for tho defendant an.d Mr Mazengarb and Mr B. B. G. Chadwick for the plaintiff. When th© jary returned their verdict after a, retirement of three hours 45 minutes, his Honour commented that the amount was such that he wooid have airived at had the deeision rested With him.
