MORNING TEA PARTY FOR MISS J. SPENCER, O.B.E.
Members of the executive committee of the Palmerston North Townswomen's Guild met Miss Jerome Spencer, O.B.E., at morning tea at the Rosco tea-rooms yesterday, the president, Mrs A ,E. Mansford, prosiding. 'After refreshments had been enjoyed members received much enlightenment from Miss Spencer as to the conduct of guilds and future development. . Others present were Mesdames M. Aitchiscn, H. Palmer, F. G. Major, D. James, W. S. Woodroofe, A. J. MeNeilly, W. F. Field, Misses M. Cranston and Grant.
