Fairy Hill Wins 50,000 Dollars (Received 24. 8.45 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 22. A message from Santa , Anita states that Fairy Hill won the 50,000-dollar Derby after a thrilling battle in the straight .with Military, Ptolemy and Brown Jade. Forty-five thousand speetators witnessed the race, including many cinoi'ie , stars.
