Trucks for Auckland Power Board

AUCKLAND, Laft Night.- ^ Whether an English make of motor- 4 truck should receive preference over the Canadian produet, which was offered at a considerably lower price,; was discussed by the Auckland Electric ' Power Board when tho purchase of a two-ton vehiele was recommended by the general manager. The trade ro-' 4 ciprocity aspect was emphasised by several members and it was decided to purchase English trucks for £890, a« 1 against the Canadian quota of £505. An. amendment that the lowest tendcij be accepted was not supported.
