Two Lodge Members Leaving Waipukurau

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. Eros. M. J. Yarwood and F. Frost, members of the Oddfellows' Lodge, I.O.O.F., N.Z., who are shortly leaving Waipukurau, were tendered a farewell evening by4 the lodge on Saturday night. There was a large crowd present. In making the presentation Bro. R. Brassel, .who presided, said that, on behalf of the lodge members, he wished to express sincere regret a't losing two ouch members as Bros. Yarwood and Frost. Their services had at all times been most valuable. Bro.- Yarwood was presented 1 with a tobacco pouch and. Bro. Frost an electrie jug. Other speakers were Bro. W. Chappel, M. Doran (Waipawa), and F. Saylisa. Following the presentation an informal evening 's entertainment was held, Bro. Yarwood is being transferred, on promotion, to the Taupiri Post OfBLce, while Bro. Frost, late of the Waipukurau branch of the, Hawke 's Bay Farmers is going to Hastings.
