Viscount Cranborne, speaking in the House of CommoUs, said he underatood that invitations to send reprOsentatives to the Coronation had been sent to Spain and Abyssinia. Miss Wilkinson: Oan we have some guarantee that we shall not be insulted by the presence of General Goering 1 Members of the House shouted "Order" and "Shame." The question Was not answered. General Goering 's name has been mentioned in newspapers but Berlin states that representatives have not been appointed. A B.O.W. message says that th© Government anticipates that visitors to London for the Coronation will far outnumber anythin'g known on previous occaslons. Invitations to send representatives have been eent to all heads of States in diplomatic relations with His Majesty and to eertain independent States without diplomatic representation but in treaty relations with Britain. The colonial military coutingent ^ to take part in the Coronation proeession will consist of detachments of officers, British non-commissioned officers and Afrlcan, Arab or Malay non-commis-ioned officers from the permanent forces in colonial dependencies and of officers • and non-commissioned officers from various local volunteer defence forces. The contingent will number approximately 120.
