APPRECIATION AND TRIBUTE
Appreeiation of the valued services given as a member of the Napier Harbour Board by the late Mr. G. C. Lowe was expressed by members of the boardyesterday. In paying a feeling tribute,. the chairman, Mr. T. M. Geddis, said that Mr. Lowe, }who of late had experienced indifferent health, was a keea business man, taking a keen interest in publie affairs. Mr. Lowe represented the borough of Hastings from 1925 to 1933, and those who were associated with him found him to be a genuino and fine type of gentleman. It was decided to place on record ajH preciation of his services and that a letter should be sent to the relatives of the late Mr. Lowe expressing sympathy in their berea\ enient.
