Suggestion That Borough Should Pufchase . A srggestion tHat it should obtarn the f: tthold of the aerodrome site at Westshore was deferred in the meantime by the Napier Borough Council last evening. £ letter containing this suggestion Was received from the Napier Airport Board, which added that if the area was not wanted for the purpose of a landing-field it would definitely prove a great asset to the town. Mr A. H. D. Mayne: The reserves committee can soon make use of it. Mr E. W. Wiiliams : Isn't this a little prematurep' The Mayor, Mr O. O. Morse, agreed, and after one of the councillors had murmured something about a golf course the question was dropped. It was; decided to "receive" the letter.
