WELLINGTON, Feb. 22. William Knox, aged 63, merchant tailor, never previously in any kind o£ trouble, was charged to-day with being intoxicated in charge of a car. "He pleaded guilty. It was stated tha^ he was seen to go up to his car unsteadily and giet into the driver's seat, Counsel stated that Knox had no intention of driving the car, but was waiting for his son to drive him home, and this was explained to the poliee at the time. The Magistrate, Mr Morling, imposed a fine oi £25.
