Surprises in Champion Fours Games BLUFF HILL BEATEN Dull weather and wind cnarred play in th'e third, day's play of the champion fours on the Napier Club's green on Saturday. As play progressed, how. ever, the weather improved. The outstanding feature of the day was Waipawa 's .triple win, which gave them the championship. It was a surprise when Bluff Hill, previously' undefeated failed to register a win in the three games. At the close of play, the president of the -H.B.B. Mr. F. Logan, presented the pennant to tho winners. Mr. Eagle, skip of the Waipawa team, made suitable acknowledgment. .Detailed scores are: SEVENTH ROUND. Waipawa 23, Napier 22; Kia Toa 22, Bluff Hill 10; Heretaunga 26, Oamarunui 15; Hastings 28, Havelock North 17; rPort Ahuriri 22, Waipukurau 17; Wairere 21, National Service 20. EIGHTH ROUND.
