Some concern was felt for the safety of a small party of visitors to the Gannet Sanctuary at Cape Kidnappers last eveniilg, tbe pUi'ty being unable to make its return to Clifton until late at nigbt owing to the unfavourable tide. Tbe party, tbougib its members spent a few uncomfortable hours in one of the gullies leading from the shore, eventually returned to Clifton and dispelled the fears that had been ' entert&ined for its safety. *- . — — — ■* - -■ »• j--
