Miss Hazel Eilis arrived at New Plymouth on Saturday from Napier. She is the guest of Miss Betty List. Miss Audrey Harding. M.A., of Hawera, has been appointed to the staff of tho Dannevirke High School. « Mrs W. Robinson, of Cambridge, is spending a fortnight's fishing holiclay at Taupo. Mr and Mrs W. Quinney and party left on Saturday morningj on a holiday tour of the Taupo and Rotorua districts Miss Jean Brodie, Tomoana rojad, Hastings, is the guest of Miss Alix Eoehfort, at Taupo. Miss Renee Eeeves, who has been spending the vacation with her father, Dr. W. Eeeve, Duart road, Havelif:, returned to the Otago University tnis morning. Mrs H. E. Bright, Haronga road, Gisborne, accompanied by Miss Shirley Bright, arrived at Napier to-day on a short visit. Mr and Mrs Selwyn Averill and family, Hastings, returned yesterday after spending a few days at Wairoa with Mr and Mrs H. D. deLautour, Te Ariki.
