' Miss Rixdn will be at home to Parents on Saturday; Afterhoon, 27th Pebniary, 1937, HASTINGS BOROUGH COUNCIL. * NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given • that at a Special Meeting of the Hastings Borough Council held on Thursday, 11th February, 1937, the following resolution was passed:-— "THAT in pnrsuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conf erred on it by Section 156 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1933," the Hastings Borough Council hereby resolves, by Vay of Special Order, as follows: — (a), THAT the Council sell to the Hawke 's Bay Electric Power Board at the price of Three Hundred and fifty pounds (£350) that piece of land situate in Eastbourne Street, . Hastings, containing Twenty aq.d •ighty-nine one-hundredths (20 89-100) porches being part of Lots 158 and 159 on Deeds Plan 83 and all the land comprised in Certificate of Title H.B. Volume 95 folio 156 (Hawke 's Bay Registry). ^b) THAT the Council surrender to the said Power Board a portion of the Right-Qf-way at present used by the Borough • Council and leading from Eastbourne Street to the xear of .the Hastings Municipal Theatre, the portion to be surrendered being a strip Six (6) feet wide and adjoining the land described in ihe above cnentioned Certificate of Title. |e) THAT the Council grant to the said Power Board a permanent Right-of-way over a strip of land twelve (12) feet wide situated at the rear of the Hastings. Municipal Theatre and being part of Lot 152 on Deeds Plan 83. AND PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY ALSQ GIVEN that the above resolution will be submitted for confirmation at the Ordinary Meeting of the HastinganBorough Council to be held in the Council Chambers at Hastings on Thursday, the 18th day of March, 1937, *t 7.30 p.m. NOEL C.
