MR THOMAS TYNE
Woll-known in Hamilton business and sporting cireles, the death oceiirred on Thursday at his home in Hinemoa street, of Mr. Thomas Tyne, aged 52 years. The late Mr Tyne has been manager of the Trading Department of the Hamilton branch of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company for the last ten years. Born in Napier, the late Mr. Tyne was the son of Mr. Thomas Tyne, of Pencarx'ow, Mt„ Eden, Auckland. He joined the staffi of the New Zealand Dairy Association, and when in 1919 it amalgamated with the New Zealand Dairy Company, Mr. Tyne was plaeed in eharge of the trading department in the Hamilton braneh of the co-dpera-tive company. He remained in Hamilton in this capacity for three yeai'S and in, 1922 he was appointed managey oi the ;Anekland branch, holding his position for four years, Qwing to the growtn of the local trading department Mr. Tyne was recalled to Hamilton in 1920 and was placed in chargo of the deparcment, a positioh he held at the time of nis death. The lateMr. Tyne was an enthusiastic sportsman, taking a great interest in football and was in regular attendance at matches in Hamilton. For the last five years he was president of the Frankton Football Club and was a past president of the Hamilton Eugby Union. He was also interested in shootmg and angling, in which he participated in his , spare . time, and last year he was a member of the Hamilton Gun Club Committee. Deeeased is survived by his wife, his father, and two brotliers and two sisters in Auckland. They uto Mr. Jack Tyne (Mt. Eden), Mr. Edmund Tyne (Onehunga) and Mesdames E. Fulle.toii (Mount. Eden), aud S. Fullerton '('unwnby).
