CHAIRMAN WELCOMED BACK

Mr T. M. Geddis, who for somo timo has been seriously ill, was warmly welcomed by members of the Napier Harbour Board to-day, when he again occupied the chair. Mr E. J. Herrick, deputy-chairman, expressed the pleasitre feit by members at the reeovery that Mr Geddis had made from his illness. In expressing thanks to members for their good wishes, Mr Geddis said how much he appreciated the manner in which, Mr Herrick had carried out the duties of chairman during his absence. He was also grateful to Mr P.- F. Higgins, chairman of the works committeo, and to members of the board in general for the assistance that they had given. - \ f
