Protest by Farmers

Morrinsville, jreb. ir. Objection to blackbefries being offered for sale was voieed at a meeting of the Morrinsville branch of the Farmers' Union. Mr A. Topha-m said it was s scandal that people should be allowed to collect and sell blackberries. • They wero a noxious weed and should not be allowed to grow. Pieking berries for connnercial purposes would help to sprearl the pest. It was decided that a protest be made to the Minister of Agriculture.
