The standard to-night waa not quite "up to the perforniance ih the first test, but the winning band,f from the rhythmieal and detail view-i point, was outstanding. Their soloists,? especially the soprano, euphonium and * cornet, were moat impressive. The ■vvork and performance of the bands in . general was of a fairly high A gradestandard. Eesults: —
