TERRIFIC CYCLONE

Ships in Dange Off Coast of Qiieensland (Received 20, 8.45 a.m.) BRISBANE, Feb. 20. The weather in Queensland and for miles out to sea is at present extremely bad. There is a terrifie cyelone, accompanied by very thick weather wkieh has disorganised shipping. An S.O.S. call yesterday was received from the freighter Babinda, which is disabled 100 miles north of Brisbane with a broken intermediate engine shaft. The diner Orungal received the message and is nOW standing by, but is unable to get a line aboard. Two other freighters, the Turakina and the Bingera, are hastening to the scene. The Orungal later took the disabled Babinda in tow and should reaeh port this morning. There is no further news of the Shousing, but she should reaeh port during the week-end.
