No Trace After Lfeaving Brisbane DISASTER FEARED

(Received 20, 8.45 a.m.) BRISBANE, Feb. 19. Grave fears are entertained for the safety of a Stinson air-liner on the Brisbane-Sydney service. It left Archer Field at 1 p.m. to-day and has not -since been reported. Six are aboard consisting of iouf passengers-— Messrs Graham, Foiintain, Bal'nett and Westray-— and two pilots, Shepherd and Boyden. It is believed in Sydney that the Stinson air-liner niade a foi'ced landing along tho New South Wales coast out of ^reach of communications, The usual practice of these machines is to hug the coast en rout.e t'o Sydney. A report from Nambncca says that the Stinson wafi heard over that midcoast town at 2.55 p.m., bnt it is possible it may have been the sistcr Stinson en route to Brisbane which leaves Sydney at 1 p.m. daily.
