£150,000 for the Abbey and Street Stands ROOMS FOR VISITORS

(Received 20, 8.45 a.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 19. A supplementary estimate which has been issued for £2,988, 504 contains provision for expenses.for the Coronation amounting to £152,000. Of this sum £150,000 represents the cost of preparation of Westminster Abbey and an annex which is being specially built, and the erection of stands along the route. A central organisation which will assist Coronation visitors to find beds and meals is now established, and 3000 rooms have already been offered for disposal by it. It is stated that many thousands more are required.
