Collapsible Theatre Displayed At Vienna
VIEjN^TA — One of the most interestting objects shown'at the Iuternational Exhibition for Theatrical Art held in this city was the model of a collapsible and transportable theatre. It is made of light steel and other light metals and includes full 'modern stage equipment. The Auatrian "Eolling" "Theatre presents itself, when unfolded and set up, as a large barrel-shaped steel hal!, measuring 16,000 square feet, with a canvas awning stretched over the steel framework hy meane of two asbestos walls the hall is divided into a stage with a proscenium 18 yarda broad, an ascending auditorium with 1480 folding | seats and a lobby containing cloakp room, buffet, reception and other rooms. j The stage is fitted with tone-fllm { equipment and also scehery and it takes t only two hours to set it up or take it j to pieees. Six middle-sized trucks are sufficient to transport it. It eost 70,000 dollars.
