Monthly Meeting of Board

WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. The monthly meeting of the Central Hawke's Bay Power Board wafi held to-day, the chairman, Mr A. C. Russell, presiding over Messrs W. H. Rathbone, O. Pattispn, A. C. Holms, M. Ryan, R. A. Fraser, A. W. S. Longley, F. J. Witherow, J. A. Kerr and W. A. Chambers. The secretary-manager, Mr G. E. Fowler, and the engineer, Mr J. K. Lee, were also present. The engineer was authorised 'to make a survey of possiDle extensions of reticulation in the Porangahau . area. The board passed k resolution expressing appreciation of the excellent work done by Mr Fowler in ihe raising of the £10,000 conversion loan. • The board decided to follow their usual practic© of making concossions in the supplying of extra electric current for special illuminations for tho Coronation. The following addifions to the reticulation were repji'ted: New consuii'trs 10 ranges 8, hot water services 10, milking motors 5, other motoi's 1. The engineer, Mr Lee reported that the construction of the necessary gear and apparattus Mr tbc nianufacturo f concrete powei poles was proceeding slowly.
