REGENT THEATRE

"OKOIA CLIPPER." ' ' China Clipper," the new First National production which is seheduled as the feature attraction at the Regent Theatre to-niglxt, is a glamorotis romance of the air, inarking a railestone in the pictorial history of daring aviation. There ie an exceptionally talented cast which includes Pat O 'Brien, Bevflrly Roberts, Ross Alexander, Hurtiphrey B. Walthall in the prindipal . roles. While the story itself is fictitious, it is based, to a large extent, on the hazardous flights of the famous China Clipper of the Pan-Amefican Airways which not so long ago establiehed an air serviee between Alameda, on tbe Pacific Coast near San Fr.ancisco, and the Philippine Islands. The story is by Commander Frank Wead, famous navy ' flying ace, with William J. Van Dusen, of the Pan-American Airways, serving as technical advisor. O 'Brien has the leading role, that of a war ace, who conceives the idea of ' establishing definite air routea from the United States to the South American countriCs, then to China, to span the world. Tauber on Saturdav "Land without Music" is the attraction at the Regent Theatre on Saturday, and, as it stars Richard Tauber, it is sure to be popular with the public.
