Top wethers" made to 30/6, being the best price for several weeks. - Extra-prime Down-cross entrifrs sold readily, a particularly good' entry of two-tooths making 27/5. Good average ewes made to 21/3, with mediuin lines f aily on a par with the f reezing schedule. Several small pens of lambs were offered, the top price being 31/-, with ligkt-ffnished sorts making to 23/-. Values were realised as under for solectecb entries: — Nineteen medium to heavy prime Bwes in guod order brought 19/11. * 'Twenty medium ewes, lighter iiniahed. brought 18/8. On account of Mr. H. A. Wall, Marae totara, 15 heavy prime wethers broughr27/a, From tlie same source, 11 Down-cross heavy prime wethers snowing quality orought 27/6. On account of Mr. ,S. Abrahanf, Opapa, 20 heavy Down-cross, priumquality entries realised 27/1. From the same source, eiglit heavy prime ewes broughf 20/-. Eiglit lighter- ' fmished ewes in the same draft made j 18/8. A nicely-grown, heavy, well-woolled, prime-quality lami) brought 31/-. . Nine heavy, prime ewes made 21/3. A particularly prime line of medium - framed young wethers. a quality entry, were purehased by Mr. J. B. Fletcher at 28/3. Fii'teen medium woolly lambs, quite | good killing, brought 23/8. Five heavy, prime quality two-tooth j wethers, an exceptional entry, mado 30/6. Four extra-prime, heavy Down-cros-two-tooths brought 27/5.
