Gilray aqd Mrs Havelock Barnett at the Hawke's Bay Women 's Olub where the roonis looked very bright and attractive with large bowls of flame dahlias, cannas and niulti-coloured zinnias. • . Morning tea was enjoyed in, the lounge and the guests chatted together. Mrs Henley wore a frock- of navy silk, patterned w.ith white, and a navy hat. -Mrs Gilray wore a smart .brown costume and -brown velour hat, and Mrs Barnett wore a grey figured frock and grey hat.
