Mrs E. A. W. Henley, of Napier, who leaves at the beginning of next .month for England," to visit her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. and Mrs 'Wilton Henley, has been the guest of honour a.t s'evei-al jolly. parties, her many friends welcoming the opportunity to wish her bon voyage and a very happy holiday. - . A delighti'ul morning tea prty was given by Mrs T. Gilray aqd Mrs Havelock Barnett at the Hawke's Bay Women 's Olub where the roonis looked very bright and attractive with large bowls of flame dahlias, cannas and niulti-coloured zinnias. • . Morning tea was enjoyed in, the lounge and the guests chatted together. Mrs Henley wore a frock- of navy silk, patterned w.ith white, and a navy hat. -Mrs Gilray wore a smart .brown costume and -brown velour hat, and Mrs Barnett wore a grey figured frock and grey hat.
