Mr Arthur Stewart

Mr. Arthur Stewart passed away at the Napier Hospital early yesterday morning. After undergoing a serioua operation six months ago he has not 1 been in the best of health, but his death came as a shock. Mr. Stewart was 48 years of age. He was for some years in business in Ongaonga, first as a blacksmith and later as a carrier. He is survived by a grown-up family of two sons, Douglas and Jack, and one daughter, Lorna, all of Hastings. He also has three sisters, Mesdames E. Maher, Napier, C. Hopkins, Hastings, and L. Wilson. Marton, and three brothers, Messrs. Louis, Hastings, Tohi, Wairoa, and Arnold, Tutira.
