L. J. ELLIS INJURED
(Received 18, 8.45 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Feb. 17. The New Zealand jockey L. J. Ellis is an iixmate of a private hospital as a result of a fall. He had head injuriea and the sight of one eye has failed. Thus Cuddle, so far, has no 'rider for the Futurity Stakes. Lynch Law has been. relieved of all its autumn engagements and turned out for a spell at Mentone in order to get the benefit of the salt water,
