Miss Betty Marvern, Havelock North, left this morning to commence her training at the Masterton Hospital. Mrs - C. Giblin, Waipukurau, is the guest of Mrs W. L. Rutledge, Matawai, Gisborne. Mrs E. J. Gwynne, Wanganui is visit- ! ing Mrs Orringe, Napier. Miss A. Tyeirman, Napier, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs H. T. Russell, Dannevirke, has left for Auckland from where she will sail for London. Mrs and Miss Hay, Hastings, spent the week-emd in Umutaoroa, renewing old frjendships. Mrs C, E. Cochrane and her daughter, Mrs D. Tapp, have returned to the Waikato from a trip to Gisborne and Napier. Mr and Mrg Brady, of Hastings, have beem visiting Mrs L. Nixon, Wanganui. Mr and Mrs G. Linwood, of Napier, are visiting Wanganui. Mrs A. J. Young, Wairoa, is visiting Wanganui. Mr and Mrs A. Tasker have returned to Wanganui from Hawke's Bay, where they were the guests of Mrs T. Tasker, Greenmeadows. Mrs Barton and Miss Phyllis Oldham of Taihape, were visitors to Hawke's Bay, for the Pidgeon— Hill wedding.
