MR & MRS G. G. STEAD GUESTS OF HONOUR AT 5 O'CLOCK PARTY
A rery cheery five-till-seven party was given at the aerodrome cluhhouso, Bridgie .Pa, last evening, by Mrs W. G Stead, in honour of her son and daugh-ter-in-law, Mr and Mrs G. G. Stead, who have recently arrived from England. Mrs W. G. Stead welcomed the guests as they arrived. She wore a gown of pastel-blue cobweh Iace with crystal buttons finishing the corsage in front. Her finger-tip length coat was of the same material and she wore a deep cream balliburtal straw hat banded with blue. Her daughter-in-law, Mrs G. G. Stead, wore a frock of deepest burgundy afghalaine with shirring at the neck, and a smart little velour hat in the same ehade finished with a quill through the crown. The guests were entertained in the lounge, where large bowls of vivid shaded zinnias aud tall vases of cannas were much admired. ' Mrs Stead was assisted by her daughter, Miss Marie Stead, who wore ^ a frock of navy silk coin-spotted with white, and by her son, Mr S. L. Stead. The guests were - Mr and Mrs W. It.
