Boar Attacks Mare, A draughl mare valuod at £70 was lost recently by a farmer of Maungatapere, North Auckland, through bleeding to death after being -sovcrely wounded by a boar. The boar attacked the mare during the night, both being in tho same poddoek. The discovex-y was mad.o by the farmer when going out to milk oarly in the morning.
