"OHENA OLIPFER" OQMING. 1 1 China Clipper, ' ' the new First National production which is seh'eduled as the feature attraction at the Regent Theatre 'to-night, is a glamorous romance of the air, marking a milestone in the pictorial history of darihg aviation. There is an exceptionally talepted cast which* includes Pat O'Brien, Beverly Roberts, Ross Alexander, Humphrey B. Walthall in the " principal roles. While the story itself is fietitious, it is based, to a large extefit, •' on the hazardous flights of the famous China Clipper of .the Pan-American Airways which not so long ago . establhshed an air service between Alameda, on the Pacific Coast near San Erancisco, and the Philippine Islands. The story is by Commander Erank Wead, famous navy fiying aee, with William I. Van Dusen, of the' Pan-American Airways," serving as technical advisor. O 'Brien has the leading role, that of a war ace, who coneeives the idea of establishihg definite air routes from the United' States to the South American countries, then to China, to span the world.
