COSY THEATRE
CEOSBY MUSICAL PLUS COMEDY. Two radio headliners, Bing Crosby and Bob Burns, have leading roles in the newest of the Paramount musicals, "Rhythm on the Range," which opene to-morrow at the Cosy Theatre. The picture stars Bing Crosby and Frances Farmer in the lead. It also introduces for the first time to Bcreen audlences Martha Raye, dynamio stage commedienne who boasts an acrobatic face and a rapid-fire line of near-insanity. "Rhythm on the Range" launches six song hits. They include, "I Can't Eecape f'rom. You," "The House that Jack Built for Jill," "If You Can't Sing It You '11 Have to Swing It," "Empty Saddles," "I'm an Old Cow Hand from the Rio Grande," and "Roundup Lullaby. ' ' The second feature on the programme is "A Son Comes Home," starring Mary Boland, Julie Haydon and Donald Woods. This is Mary Boland 's first dramatic role, as the proprietress of a wharf boarding-house who is awaiting the return of a long-lost son. Finally To-night. To-night k the final chance to see ' 'The Gay Desperado," in which Nino Martini has the role of a singing bad man with a eense of comedy.
