Amplifying several points in yesterday 5s Hospital Board discussion regarding Dr. J. Allan Berry 's resignation, Mr C. Lassen, chairman of tbe board, said this morning that the reason t'or the withdrawal of his motion was to give Dr. Berry a full opportunity to consider putting in his resignation. Asked as to what would happen if Dr. Berry did not tender his resignation, Mr Lassen said that in that event he intended to proceed on the lines of his original • motion — that a sj>ecial meeting of the board .be called at a date to-be arranged to dispensc with Dr. Berty's Mrvicss. ,
